2jz mounts

O.k Well to start off I currently have a250z but have seen the 2j swap is and has been done more in the G so I decided to join the community.
With not getting any responses or detailed feed back from anyone I just had a few questions before I go to drop the motor in for anyone who might have a clue or knowledge.

I will be using the Collins adaptor with my z trans ands world like to retain stock shifter location.I understand cutting and welding the shifter back is a must but wanted to know where that might leave me with engine room upfront to run puller fans. Basically I see and hear the stock 2jz bracket and mounts work but leave little room with also using the stock cross member.
Anyone with some input can please inform me I'd appreciate it.
Thanks in advance guys

It wouldn't be too hard to slot the x member after adding some steel where the existing slots are. You'd be messing with the shifter location even more though. I doubt many people have done this... I would say some trial and error is needed. The radiator support comes on and off really easily once you have it all unhooked.

Yea that's what im talking about, the shifter location using the Collins adaptor with my stock 350z transmission. If any one else can chime in that'd be awesome.
Thanks for the response brother.
