I've been running 18's with a mild drop for years.

I like the 18's but I know they're not for everyone. I like them but I don't think they look too small. I've never run anything LESS than 10.5 (the middle set are 12's in the rear and 9.5 front). Even at 12 inches wide, I can still slide a LITTLE bit. Not a lot, but it at least breaks traction.

I want a nice set up that doesn't hurt power , or handling.
Lmbo, I have absolutely noooo problem spinning the tires in 1st or 2nd gear in my G with the 20's I have. When down shifting into 3rd I can sometimes chirp the wheels as well. I have a set of Rennen C10's, you already know my specs. I got a deal on them for $1200. I say, be patient and get a better set. Check the forum market place, Craigslist. Friends (no one turns down cash in hand), eBay (yes, I said it, eBay), and other places before purchasing those rims. Trust me, you'll thank me later. One more thing. Right now my only performance mods are an exoticspeed exhaust, and a Fujita Max 5 intake. No problem chirping the tires here....Lmbo

Yeah. I'm honestly not a fan of those wheels either. There's fun to be had in the marketplace on here AND on the forum that is for Z's that is a sister to this forum that is signified by the possessive noun, MY (my350z dot com).

That said, at the end of the day, if YOU like the wheels, go with them. Because it's your car and you've got to be happy with it. Whether you spend 100 dollars or 100 THOUSAND dollars, if you're not pleased with the look, you have to deal with that displeasure.

Personally, with 20's (which are a touch on the large side to me), you need some diversity in your wheel. Something with a lip or some pattern that isn't a plain spoke. Nothing makes 20's look huge like simplicity (not that it should be some blingy wheel, but some good examples of 20's have been displayed here). The wheel you showed looks like an MB Battle...which is a great wheel, but its largest diameter is 18 (they've been on numerous track Z's and track styled G's). In a 20inch, it doesn't work. So, I'd keep that in mind.

The good thing about 20's is you can get low without being low. What I mean is 20's with a 35-45 series tire sidewall and a mild drop (Eibach Sportlines at MOST) eats up your wheel gap and makes your car LOOk slammed without making it unfunctional. It's a really cool thing (to me at least).

good luck either wayt

Thanks man. I'm on coils. I started with BC's and then went with D2's. I've been on D2's for about 4 years now.

If you care at all about performance, IMO, you should be asking about their weight and if they are forged or cast FIRST. Picking one you like the look of comes second to that. If you care only about looks and not about adding rotating mass, then buy whatever looks good to you.

Thumbs up Axis Verde

The Axis Verde is a hot wheel. I hope you get a staggered set of 20's. Now, you got me thinking about buying a set.
