Used g35c market
I was looking up prices on used coupes, and the prices I saw were all over the board. So, from you guys with experience, what is the cheapest you think I could locate a used coupe for these days? With say, less than 35k miles?
Are the ATs cheaper than MT? Any info is appreciated

You can get a bangin deal on an AT than you can with MT, especially used. I'd go with a private seller since a dealer will molest you dearly. Now why are the prices so high for a used car you ask? Well the G35 is in 3rd place for car that holds its value (i.e. high resale value). I think Acura TL holds first place according to a study (look on MSN.com).

I spent a few months looking for a used coupe also - and the automatic is usually cheaper than manual. The prices will fall around $32k - $35k usually....I was lucky and found someone selling it for $30k. Depending on the options you want, it may be hard to find one with exactly the right color and options...

Here in the midwest, finding a used 6mt like I wanted it did take me a few months. Eventually though, I found it. It's an 03 with every option except Navi. It had about 29,000 miles and got it for under just $26k.
Best thing is, the full factory warranty and all the "perks" that come with it (like loaners & road side assistance) come over with the vehicle at no cost to you.

I'm planning on purchasing a used G finances and depreciation willing. I think used G's are over priced at the moment. The 2005s hitting the market in December helped, but owners are still asking too much most of the time.
This is a common problem not limited to the G, but it seem particularly bad with them. Just look at eBay. My informal monitoring shows 1 in 50 G35 listings sell. BMW, Acura, etc average more like 1 in 3. I know eBay is a horrible to draw statistics from, but I can't think of a better resource.
Cars typically loose 60% of their value in 3-4 years. That should put a 2003 G Sedan even with good resale at ~$16K (28K - 40%). In reality, its hard to find a 2003 with normal miles for less than 23K. Basically the used G market is very constrained and people are buying new instead because the gap isn't large enough.
