Coupe Aero Ferring.
Finally got my Aero Ferring (their description) for my new Coupe. As soon as I get the car up on a hoist, I'll get some pics of them mounted.
Easy to install. 3 mounting pionts (2 nuts and 1 screw). Placed directly ahead of the rear wheels below seats.
Cost $70 Cdn. + Tax. That's about $50 US.
My first post in a couple of weeks. and I've missed all you peeps, just been tough getting thru the loss of my 'soul mate'
Prince. We were very close.
Be patient, I'm behind about 2000 posts on Coupe alone Thanks

Sorry to hear about Prince. Of course, all dogs go to heaven, so I'm sure he's still watching over you.
Did those vice grips come with the package?

Nice GSsedanman, I didnt realize that we could buy the "aero ferring" or "underbody diffusers" with out buying the spoiler in a kit. This is good to know, I am definately going to try and find a set.

Re: Coupe Aero Ferring.
Hey bro, Got the Ferring parts at the Nissan dealer I bought my cars at in Brantford. Here's the P/N's and price I paid:
.........74586-CD800....ferring, list-37.00 my price 30.00
..........74587-CD800....ferring, list-37.00 my price 30.00
..........01436-01381.....2 screws............my price 2.94
..........08911-10637.....4 nuts................my price .64
Total including taxes= $73.12
A little pricey for what you get but worth the effort and $$$$.
L8r dude.

Re: Coupe Aero Ferring.
D_Nyholm, I was hoping to get pics of all 4 aero ferring pieces I've installed while on the hoist . These will have to do for now.
How do they look---- not visible from above.
How do they install---cake (if you have pics)
How do they work---Theoreticly they'll lower Cd by about '.1' at 100 mph.[i'm guessing-lol].
I installed them more for the limited protection they afford.
The mounting points were all there on my Coupe. Just a matter of finding the studs or holes and installing with supplied hardware.
The first pic is of the original parts (D.S. only) that I installed back a while ago and never posted any pics. They mount horizontally just ahead of the rear wheels and inboard slightly. The angle of the pic is off slightly -- the piece it highlights is more grey now than black and borders on the wheel well. The pic is of the driver's side piece. The passenger side is very similar. You can see the tire in the top right corner to give some orientation:

The next pic is of the Driver's side rear piece (no unmounted pic), that mounts behind the tire, perpendicularly, very closely to the bumper. Nissan p/n- 748A0-CD810. $37. CDN:

The last pic is of the Passenger side rear piece mounted horizontally in a similar place as D.S. (no unmounted pic)
Nissan p/n: 748A0-CD800 $37. CDN:

Hope this helps. There are other smaller and insignificant pieces that mount here and there, but I declined those. I'm not that ****. LOL
