Yeah, I have 2004.5.
I remember thinking I did and someone laughed and I said I swear its a 2004.5. I guess a lot of people have never heard of .5 years on cars, but my Jetta was a 1999.5 and people laughed when I told them about the .5.

These cars have more hp and torque on the dynos than the 2004's. So the date on my 04 says 08/04.. my VIN ends with a 700,000 number.. But Infiniti tells me my TCM is in the valve body when I gave them my VIN number. I don’t think it is.. I checked under the glove compartment on the passenger side and there is a TCM there.. unless that’s not the TCMOriginally Posted by neffster

There was a difference in the interior center console. The 2004.5 had a padded arm rest lid whereas the 2004 was a plastic cover only or may even be left open, I can't recall. The compartment is actually the cup holder when the lid/arm rest is lifted.
