ok guys I have an 04 g35 coupe automatic engine wise ive never had any issues ever but yesterday I went to sonics and while waiting for food my idle suddenly started to fluctuate a bit which it has never done then died. I tried restarting but the car is not starting any ideas some of the guys were saying
cam sensor
crank sensor
or fuel pump (would not start even with a lil starter fluid)
so it looks like no spark either anyone ever have this problem before I wanna say cam or crank sensor but normally everyone says it threw a code out befre hand.
this morning it actually started but ran like crap for like 5 mins then died again an now its not starting it didn't sputter or act like it was starving for gas revved fine then after idling a bit suddenly died.

 

You should have an engine codes to check.

You didn't say mileage, but I think cam sensors should have a 100K replacement interval. They will make the car go into safe mode, as mine happened on a date and I had to get it fixed ASAP . Went to auto zone and swapped the sensors.


It's time to do cam sensors and crank sensors at 100K get er done.

 

Yeah thats just it thgh no engine codes are showing up did yours have engine light or just die?
