Just in the last two weeks, I've noticed a light surge when I leave the line a stop light; every time. It also surges when I left off the gas before slowing down. It's like it's "blipping" its own throttle but, now clutch: so I feel the blip.

Another problem arose on Saturday. As I was turning, there was a definite slowing; almost like I pressed the brakes. Then, it picked up and went on. It also happened on Sunday as I was driving straight. Suddenly, it was like I pressed the brakes. Just for a second, then, all was well.

Then...really, more problems you F*^%$# car! I was in manual mode and another hiccup. A lertch, and the "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" light came on, along with the "VDC OFF" and "SLIP" light. It drove fine the rest of the way home. After shutting down for a stop at the grocery store, only the service engine light remained.

What the hell is going on?

 

You need to have the codes pulled and that will identify the issue you need to address. My guess is you have 1 or 2 bad camshaft sensors.

 

Try to reset the throttle body

 

Frankieg35-How do I reset the throttle body?

Blue Dream-If resetting the TB doesn't work, I'll see if AdvanceAuto or some place similar can read the codes for me.

Im curious to know what the hell would make a G do that. Sup Frankie haven't seen your azz in a while.

 

Turns out the crankshaft position sensor is going out. I hope it makes it until Wednesday night.
