Power seat sometimes inop

my driver side seat doesn't go back with power sometimes... but if i lower it almost all the way down.. it works again. is this a known problem?

Are you sure it's a question of lowering it. Do you always have the hand brake on? I was making exactly this mistake and thought the seat was broken

If you pull the front seats on the G35C back too much (recline it over 7 clicks?) then the automatic seat movement would not occur. This is to prevent you from crushing rear passengers who might be present.

definitely have to lower to make it work.

no the seat backs are in the same position they always are... just when i lower the seat cushion it works again.
