Looking for '07 G35 Coupe, why so hard?

I've been looking at G35s for a long time and landed on exactly what I want, but I'm not finding any in my area. (DC / Baltimore) I've been stuck on a '07 G35 Coupe, platinum graphite, under 70k. While originally I was more stubborn, I've gotten a little more open minded when it comes to the interior (anything but the wheat color), wheels, and spoiler, because those are all things I can work with. Should I start making more concessions or just stick to my guns? Something's gotta come up eventually, right? Just wondering if anyone has advice on what I should be less worried about, or heck, if anyone has a line on one with those specs, let me know! Thanks ahead of time for any input!

It's like that everywhere. I did find a black 6mt like I wanted with 53k although had to settle on grey interior instead of the black like I wanted. And a 05-07 g35 with less that 70k 6mt is rare and people are not trying to sell them privately because they go for 14-17k and who really is going to get that from a private sale. Dealerships easily can get that. Be patient keep looking

Hey there, thanks for the help! I've actually had an eye on those two liquid platinums, I really had my heart set on the platinum graphite, but the lighter color isn't bad, and those are both priced pretty well. I may go check out the one in Gaithersburg to at least see the color in person. If I can learn to live with that, it has everything else going for it, and the mileage is right in my range. (May need to do something about those carpets though!) Again, really appreciate your quick help, looks like I joined a good forum!

Thanks sick_sixpeed, good to know it's not just like this in my area! I know I'm being kinda picky, but I'd rather at least have the basics how I want them so I can use the money on other additions

Good to know I'm not crazy! I would travel pretty much anywhere that isn't something insanely far like California if I found exactly what I wanted

I think the black dash with grey interior is probably the best combo then get some black mats! The wheat color is horrific tho

I have the wheat interior. While it's not a great interior color and not my preference, it does decently well with black.

Certainly not trying to bash anyone with the wheat! Just not my style, give me grays and blacks all day. And heck if I found exactly what I wanted for 5k less, I'd totally fly out to Texas, and have a ton of fun breaking it in driving back to MD!

I flew out to SC to pick up my Audi and drive it home...no shame is traveling if you're getting what you want. Stay stubborn and keep searching, they are out there.
6MT or nothing.
