frankly speaking, GTR are good for their engine, ready to be tuned up, and great transmission and electronics. But speaking about the look and style, Maserati are much better than any GTR.

Maybe the performance of the transmission, but not the reliability of it. That tranny is pretty much the weak link in the drivetrain of that car. Anytime I see them at track days or autocross they are overheating anytime they make a few consecutive runs without time to cool down. There are tons of stories of owners having massive issues with them and having to put a new tranny in to the tune of $12-20K once you're out of warranty.

just a quick update. Ive machined out all the plug parts and am in the process of sealing them for molding. Ill take pictures once parts are sealed. Here is a cool feature that i added to the kit. Instead of the gas cap being located on the side of the rear fender, ive placed it on the top of the fender similar to exotic cars. The lid and housing is designed to use the same hardware as the g35. The only thing is to extend the gas spout to the new location.

what did you prime the foam with? Just a regular primer or something specific for foam?

After skimming a layer of spackling on the surface, i sprayed 6 coats of "drywall PVA sealer/primer". I did this to build up the surface to be able to sand smooth. after that i will put a few coats of latex and then a few coats of partall PVA as a mold release before fiberglassing.
