maintenance this summer what should i

Im gonna spend the first half of the year ordering things i need for the g for the summer
This year i just want maintenance ,spacers,z tube detail interior and change all the leds.

Anyways what should i replace. Its a stock 03 with 120k. Manual.

Should i change any sensors to avoid probelms? Starter? Anything that usually goes wrong at 120k? I already changed the radiator, thermostat, hawk brakes and all cross drilled rotors. I need to change both front bearings and im looking into inner outter tie rods

Thanks

ALL fluids - stick with stock for tranny/diff
Filters
spark plugs
Valve cover/gasket
cam position sensors
all control arm bushings (go poly like Whiteline)
wheel bearing seems to be a popular one
If you do a spacer, change the gasket while you're there.

Are you talking wheel spacers or plenum spacer? If plenum, then the plenum gasket.
You can do just the valve cover gasket but I'd replace the PVC valve as well.

If you get it new, it will have a gasket. Used spacer runs the chance of a damaged gasket.

As far as maintenance, a complete tune up and fluid replacement is in order (if not done at 100K). Then replace any suspension or other items as needed. I'm sure your shocks are worn out at that mileage, people often wait until those are toast before replacing them not realizing that worn shocks have a big effect on handling.

A Whiteline Essentials Kit covers the major bushings that give these cars headaches.

A thorough cleaning of the throttle body will help, just remember to disconnect the battery then unplug it before you start moving the butterfly for cleaning.

I'm at 196k and this spring am looking into a suspension refresh: new ball joints, end links, shocks & mounting hats. Already have whiteline bushings due to bad compression rod. Might even replace upstream O2 sensors to keep things in top shape.

As far as suspension, i think that il wait to next year, i want to drop it a bit, will coil overs have a uncomfortable ride? If so i might just stay stock and get 19 in rims just to give it a more aggressive look.

I dont want an uncomfortable ride from dropping it. I dont take corners hard but i do want to upgrade any parts i replace with something just a little better than stock ,even if its a bit more expensive il b happy as long as its classy and comfortable.

As far as valve covers, im burning oil. Maybe 2 qts per 6k. I dont see any leaks anywhere . Should i replace the whole over or just the gasket? How can i tell if oil is getting to the cylinder thru the spark plug grommet?

While replacing the plugs, you'll see where the oil is coming in.

Are aftermarket cam position sensors ok? Or should I do eom?

I'm doing those, inner litter tie rods, cabin air filter, plugs, possibly valve cover. I'm not gonna do 02 sensors yet because them going bad will throw a code and it won't leave me stranded..

What else should I change to avoid being stuck somewhere?

I'm going to wait for shocks , with the bushings wich ones are more likely to be bad? I rather not spend hundreds on a kit, I'm going to replace as needed.

I changed my mind on performance parts for this year. I rather do a nice detail, system , and maintenance.

Aftermarket sensors are just fine.

As for the cabin filter, remove your windshield passenger cowl and you will be able to see if the old one needs to be replaced anyways.

Take your G and get suspension inspected if you think anything is wrong. It's hard to self diagnose.
