Driver side control arm
Driver side control arm
Hi guys I was just wanting to know if I need to purchase a specific control arm (the one i have is starting to wear out mechanic at Infiniti sugessted I replace it) being that my g35 has the suspension package, or if it just needs to be a regular OEM control arm. Thanks!
I think the AWD drives might have different ones, but I'm not sure about it. Also, are they referring to the local control arm (transverse link) or the compression rod? If you are looking for parts it can get confusing.
AWD arms are different than RWD. That's about the only difference from what came with the factory. Sport suspension vs regular made no difference in the arms.
Which control arm do you need to replace?
Upper Control Arm
Transverse link (lower control arm)
Compression rod.
You can go OEM but there are now some aftermarket options, especially from Mevotech. CHeck out www.rockauto.com for some ideas on pricing. Ebay has had the best pricing on NEW, OEM arms that I've seen. Still more pricey than aftermarket.

Thanks for letting me know about that. Lol I kinda figured they needed to mention wether it wwas the upper or lower control arm. Thanks for reminding me. After I got my oil change they just came out and gave me a paper that driver side control arm was starting to wear.
