I have an Ivory Pearl G35. Someone backed into the grill 1 year ago and I got a factory replacement.

Last week, my emblem got taken out by flying debris on the road. I ordered a new one and it seems to be chrome rather than a darker chrome. Is this normal or are there different shades of chrome for our cars?

When ordering aftermarket, you never know what you get.


Unsure if the same holds true with coupes, but 03-04 sedans had a chrome grill while 05-06 sedans had a dark chrome grill. If the same is true with coupes. do you have the right grill?

 

Yea, I think its normal, I looked at old pics of my car and it appears to have just been an illusion.
