Not arguing with you Scraggle, I completely agree. One of the reasons I love the G35 is because of it's looks. Not to mention its handling and power that is better than most newer vehicles on the market today.

The fact that the G is STILL being compared (13yrs later!) To new technology/engineering is a feat in and of itself. This car has proven itself time and time again in looks and power. The only thing that can be considered 'old' is the tech packages, but things like Bluetooth and nav, etc. were barely available in the life of the G35. It's still a great car, and its still faster than a lot of other cars in (what would be) its class today. I've said it before and I'll say it again: anyone who thinks the G is "slow" is doing it wrong...especially if you're losing to a Genesis 2.0t..like that's just wrong (or a trolling a$$ lie)
1 you sound like a girl. Second of all a 2010 accord coupe ia about 270 hp .3 i said i didnt beat the Genesis by much. With a turbo upgrade those cars are as fast at a stock g35. And last i dont even really know wtf trolling is.

Haha no they're not. That's a forum myth perpetuated by the late whosurbuddy. Complete bullshit. The video he posted where a Camry beat a G was dogma in the first degree. A built Camry vs a stock G with a shitty driver.

Also, kwidgyboohoo, if you can't make this car go fast, you don't have any business driving a car. No ones saying this car is winning the trans am or le mans, but it is definitely capeable of being a competitor. BTW, as much as I know about you strictly from the g35 forum world, please extrapolate on your "race car" experience..? Please tell us allllll the experience you have driving so many other "fast cars". ...aaaannnnd go...!

(BTW, I remember you saying you bought your car by saving your paychecks from pushing carts at Walmart, so don't try to BS anyone into thinking you've owned any super cars up in here). Not trying to call you out, just trying to realize your ACTUAL driving experience vs what your dad told you about "way back when".

The G isn't bad. Its a hell of a fun car on the highway and twisty roads, but it isn't necessarily"fast." Yes it's quicker than most other cars on the road, but I do know my 91 Dodge Daytona Shelby edition was quicker (although it didnt have the same top speed) but it may have had a 5th injector, bigger turbo, and trans kit installed....... I'm diggin my G though

Can we all just agree that "fast" is a matter of perspective and comparing cars that are 5-10 years plus apart in age is silly.

I don't think my car is "slow" but I also acknowledge its not a true sports car.

If your goal is to have the fastest car on the road then no, bolt-one aren't worth it. You should modify your car to your own tastes. I didn't like the body roll so I got coilovers and sway bars. I didn't like the exhaust note so I got an exhaust. Got a spacer because I caught the modding bug and a tune to bring it all together and I'm satisfied.

Lastly, if you're so impressed by the new accords then maybe you should trade your g in and get one. Im not saying that to be hostile, I just think you should have a car you're truly happy with.
