Where are you in So Cal. If you're in Orange County I can recommend a great shop in Huntington Beach...Skill Craft Body Shop on Gothard.

Need to find good paint shop

I used Golden Hammer in West LA (near 405 and Olympic) for minor body repair. Replacement paint was fabulous.

Impact Auto Body

This is located on Pico near Fairfax Blvd. in Los Angeles. Expert color matchers. They work on many foreign and exotic cars like Porsche, Mercedes, Lotus, etc.

Ask for Alfred and tell him that Marco sent you. He should take care of you. I'll let him know to expect a call. I've been going to that shop for over 10 years and they are excellent!

The number is (323) 938-5555.

Golden Hammer

Hi. I am a new member. I would like to obtain an estimate from Golden Hammer. My parked 1999 Mercedes E320 was hit on the rear driver's side. Pretty serious damage. I was fortunate enough that the other driver left a note with his information on my windshield. He wants to try and pay for the damage himself without involving his insurance company. He doesn't want his rates to go up. I have heard about Golden Hammer's good work. Are they also reasonably priced? I would also appreciate a direct referral to Alfred (?) if you can provide one. Thanks in advance for your help.

Call Impact Auto and ask for Alfred and tell him that Marco sent you. He should take care of you and if you did decide to go through the insurance company, maybe he can work something out so that the deductible isn't much. He has a rep. for doing great work! His number is (323) 938-5555. Good luck.

Impact Auto

Thanks for your response. I visited Alfred's shop. I will probably use him. Do you or anybody else have a recommendation for a good and reasonably priced repair/service facility for Mercedes in the Los Angeles area? Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Yep. Just West of Alfred's shop on the corner of Pico & Genessee, you'll find Digitec Auto Repair. Doesn't look like much but they share customers with Alfred/Impact Auto Body. Ask for Jim (323) 938-8009 and tell him Marco sent you. I have been going there for over 10 years as well. He worked on my pops Mercedes and my 5 series Beemer.
