Would you buy this G and fix it?

I am just curious... I thought about bidding on this and then finding a wreck Z and take the parts.

Any thoughts...

kinda reminds me of my totalled G...

was a total loss and the insurance company told me if i wanted to keep it, they would pay me $5000 less... if i would have known i could sell a totalled G for $10 grand i would have kept it......

i say dont buy it! my 04 G35 coupe looked like that and had $30,000 repairs to fix it, $22,000 for parts, $8,000 for labor...
although there was also front axle damage, and hood damage...

IMO it not even worth it its at $10,100 and the reserve is still not met. I would say theres about 10K+ of damage(thats if theres no frame damage). The front doesnt look that bad but for the airbags to deploy it hit something pretty hard

Hell no. Not even if I owned a garage and wanted a project car.

Driver's, passenger, and side curtain deployment. It's going to be a pretty penny to replace those items.

There has to be frame damage and it'll be a killer to get the frame straightened. Then there's the issue of increased tire wear due to alignment problems.

It's just a bad idea.

The whole front chasis is missing. I wouldn't get into this car even if it was fixed for free...

my car had 17k worth of damage and it was less than what is shown in those pictures, that is probably more than 20k worth of damage, our car parts are very expensive, i say buy a new one, save yourself time

There's a reason why the insurance company has the car....they must have claimed it as totaled, so it'll cost more money to repair than to replace it. Anyone want to CARFAX it?

Don't even think about it. Front-end are the worse wrecked cars you can get, avoid it!! You will get more headaches buying wrecked cars.

Ditto

I guess my post is just stating what everyone else has stated. There is no money in salvaged cars. Parts are just too expensive. Only way to make any money is to part it out. Even then, you have to advertise, and hold on to the damn thing until you sell all the salvagable parts. Don't waste your time.
