I'm pretty sure they're 22.5lbs tho.

This guy weighed them.

Quote: Why? The OEM rays are totally just 'ok'. They're alright for a stock wheel, but nothing you should spend money on over any nice aftermarket wheel. The fact that they're forged is the best part about them. They're pretty heavy for a forged wheel and I don't really find them that attractive. This is obviously subjective, but they should have put bit bigger of a lip on them or something
yea you are right I'm not the biggest fan of them.

No, they're ~19 lbs per the mfg'er (as opposed to "this guy"). They are light for their diameter and they're forged. I think they look good (not great) - all that put together makes them a solid choice.

I thought previous weights of the 19" Rays were 24 & 25 lbs respectively.

I'm pretty sure that's true. Way more people would be sporting them if they were 19" and 19lbs. I don't believe they're 19lbs. That would essentially make them lighter per inch than gt-4s. It's simply not the case.

Scraggle, you're way too quick to state facts about things you're unsure of ("i don't believe" & "that's not the case" in the same post...). There are other more official sources that I can dig up later, but here's a whole thread full of people that weighed them that came with 19 to 22 lbs as their weight:

Quote: And there is no such thing as OEM Ray's for the G that are 9.5" and 10.5".
You can make them as wide as you want...you just gotta pay to have it done. You can change widths, or even modify the hub to reduce/add backspace and/or offset.

I had a set of Mustang rims done a few years back to widen them to 17x11 to fit some 335 series rubber on. Cost me about $ 200 per rim to add 2" to them. Dunno what the rate is these days as I have another set of rims that I wanna turn two 17x8's into 17x10's.
