Just like the title says. Vdc and slip light on. The alignment shop told me it's both rear spindles. Any suggestions on how to double check this before I buy the parts ? Thanks ahead of time.

Wow, this is weird. I have a 2004 (Coupe) too. Mine came on last weekend along with the ABS light. However, when I shut the car off and turn it back on, they went away. They do come back on after driving for about 15 minutes, but, again, shutting down turns them off.

The car is not accelerating normally since they first came on. It feels like the VDC is stuck on even though the light is off. If I try to push down on the gas pedal, it goes, but not like normal. It feels like it is being held back. This is regardless of whether the light is on or not.

At the same time the VDC and ABS lights came on, my brake lights will not go off. I found a piece of the plastic piece that hits the brake switch on the floor. I replaced it, but the brake lights still stay on. I'm getting a new switch today to see if that is the issue.

Any thoughts or help on either issue will be appreciated!

Thanks,
Rick

There are two other possibilities which come to mind:

One is the brake light fuse is blown. This is often caused by your trunk lid wires shorting out inside that rubber conduit.

Another is a bad camshaft position sensor.
