Brakes Question

Hey guys, hope y'all are doing well! I am switching my brakes and I am going to test out MAX Advanced Brakes OE Replacement, however the kit does not include the hardware clips. I was wondering if any clips would fit with on these pads or if I would have to find specific clips. I found these clips for the front pads and I was just wondering if I'd able to put them on the Max Brake kit I am planning to get. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Are your factory clips too messed up to reuse? You can often just sand down clips and pins one time and reuse them if they are slightly rusty and caked up.

I've never heard of MAX Brakes. Probably not the best choice of brake pad replacements.

Yeah mine are in pretty bad shape. I think it'd be best to get new ones, but I am not sure if all clips are the same of if there are some that are only made for certain pads. It might seem like a dumb question lol but I am pretty new to this.

MAX Advanced Brakes? I've been here a while and never heard of that company and we've discussed brake issues and company's from all over the world. Maybe a better idea would be to check with our Marketplace under vendor brakes for a known company with products we've been using for the past 10+ years that actually work?

OP - what all does the MAX kit include? If you're keeping your existing brake calipers then you should be able reuse the pins & clips to secure the new pads. Now if they're pretty beat up, I'm sure you could easily find some OEM replacements from Nissan. Otherwise just use brake cleaner and a steel brush to clean them up before reinstalling.
