VDC Off, SLIP, Service Engine soon lights on + Limp mode?

Hey, first post so don't know if this is in the right section. I bought a 2004 Infiniti G35 coupe on Friday, yesterday on the way back from work, the VDC Off, SLIP, and Service Engine Soon lights came on, along with significant loss of power (I believe this is called limp mode, where you can't accelerate like you should). Anybody encounter this? Anyone know what issue this is?

Scan codes and then come back to us, otherwise it's all just wild guesses

The reply sections need to autofill your response when someone starts typing "scan the codes".

It seems that common sense isn't all that common these days...................

Please use the search function on this site or Google to find information on commonly asked questions like this one before you post them, thanks.

And welcome to the family, we can be a little judgmental and dysfunctional at times like any family but we have fun.
