I know this isn't the proper fourm but I though I would post this here as well.
I went to pep boys ( in New Jersey) this morning to get some motor oil for my 2005G and my 2002 Maxima. I run the max on Mobil 1 G to go to mobil one after break in, so I firgured I would buy 5 quarts. When I went to pay for it the girl at the register told me that if I bought the Pep Boys calander for one dollar (proceeds go to MADD) that i could use the coupon inside for buy three quarts get three quarts of mobil one for free. I asked her how many I could buy, she said as many calanders as they had. Needless to say that I bought all the mobil one in 5-30 and 14-40 they had, 60 quarts in all. Cost me 2.60 per quart.

 

Wow, its a lot to drop down at once, but you can't beat the deal for the long run.

oooh yeah, the first run of those calendars had 3 free items (chevron gas cleaner, eagle was as you dry and turtle wax carwash) now the've mad it buy 1 get 1 free.

This deal work best if Mobil 1 full syn is on sale for like 3.99/qt (which it is every other month)

 

Here what I found something new.. i'm not sure if it is newly... but i've never seen it b4.

Mobil 1 Extended Performance

 

it is pretty new. It's the same as regular Mobil 1, but with more cleaning/antiwear additives and a higher amount of the synthetic "supersyn".
