ok, I saw the video and it makes sense. If it's such a power drain, why didn't Nissan just make it higher out of the factory? Is this a design flaw?

I've heard that the reason why Nissan sloped the top of the plenum is to make room for the sway bar that comes standard on the 350Z.

I'm new to all this plenum stuff too. Is going with a Crawford plenum so that you gain horsepower? And if so, how much HP can be gained from going with a Crawford??

I'm guessing that the engine cover will no longer fit once the plenum is installed.

Pic with the Crawford V5 Plenum and the ghetto cut cover... Performance wise... I notice quicker rpm pickup... I know there's more to it though...
