just had a GREAT sunday!!!

i finally got my infinity tweeters and oem front lip spoiler this week and took out my sunday to install both in my coupe. i have to say the stereo sounds GREAT with the tweeters. i want to thank those who recommended the mod and to the person who posted the dyi.

about the front lip spoiler, those templates are totally useless!!!! but in the end, i was able to do the install by just winging it with the drill points and the actual spoiler as my guide. it took quite a bit of time due to taking apart the underbody though. i totally love the look with the front lip.

thanks again to those members : )

^ I agree with you on the templates for the install of the OEM lip... totally useless... I think if I did actually use it when I drilled... I would have holes all over creation...

yeah, i just added the tweeters. i'm fine with the bass (at least for now). i was just really unhappy with the stock sound which didn't have much highs. with the stock set-up, i had to lower the bass and increase the treble setting. now, i'm able to increase the bass setting and the sound is pretty good. of course, now that i know how to take apart the door, i may end up getting new 6.5" door speakers too. but overall, it's a BIG improvement with just the tweeters.

same here! after drilling the holes for my front lip using the templates one end would always be an inch off. i ended up throwing aside all the instructions and templates and doing it by eye. its pretty straightforward once you get it.
