Need Help! Spoiler Brake Light Replacement.

Hey all I'm new to the forums & need some assistance.

I have an 06 G35 Coupe 6mt and the brake light on the factory (at least i think it is) trunk lid spoiler is not working.

The wiring seems fine; which leads me to believe the led strip is dead. The only way it seems to access the light assembly it is to take the whole spoiler off..does this seem right? There are no screws to the light assembly under the trunk liner.

Anybody who has ran into this issue please chime in, thanks!

Does the trunk pop open? If not, you likely have wires cut at the transition from the trunk to the body.

If it's just the light pull it and test it on the bench.

My spoiler 3rd brake has little caps that hide 2 screws that hold it on. Urbanengineer is probably correct about the wires being cut. It's very common for the wires to sever and less common for the entire LED strip to suddenly die. Normally a couple LEDs will go but not all at once.
