ALUMINUM DEAD PEDAL

I was wondering does anyone know of a website that sells the aluminum dead pedal. I bought the pedals for my coupe 6MT, it came with everything but the dead pedal so i've been searching around just for the dead pedal can't find anything. So if you guys know of a site let me know thanks

Re: ALUMINUM DEAD PEDAL

Another web site:

www.nissanparts.cc

You can order ONLY the dead pedal which I don't think you can do from strictlyz.com. It's about $20 shipped.

You might be able to get it directly from a Nissan dealer too. Just give them the part number (67840-CD011).

Good luck!

How much height does it ad?

I can't stand how far away the dead pedal is. I can't even reach the thing unless I stretch and point my toe. How much thicker/closer does getting the aluminum pedal make it? Is it worth it? Any other ideas for "bulking" up that pedal?

Thanks

Re: How much height does it ad?

I'll take a stab at a this. Consider using a same shaped 2x4, drill holes to match the dead pedal and find some longer bolts that go through the dead pedal and the 2x4. You can paint the 2x4 black to low profile it's appearance. ...dean

Re: How much height does it ad?

Or you could just move the seat a bit closer to the pedals...
If the car's an auto, you're not going to be able to reach the gas pedal all that well if you can't reach the dead pedal - and if it's a stick, you sure as heck ain't gonna be able to work the clutch properly if you can't reach the dead pedal.

Personally, I've found that the dead pedal is perfectly placed for where I want my foot when not shifting gears...
