Your parents need to take the car away from you until you grow up!

Eveyone likes to have fun. Why is eveyone being such tight asses about this? A burnout is the begining of learing how to to drift or warm up the tires for the drag or plain showing off. If he wants to risk anything then let him do it. Everyone learns differently. He asked how to do it, I am glad someone told him how. If everyone puts him down he will never want to post in this forum again. Thats what forums are for is to learn and ask questions.

but wanting to learn how to do a burnout is pretty infantile and stupid. and when you post on a forum, you have to expect responses--good or bad. for example, if i put PHAT chrome spinners on my coupe and posted pics on the forum, wouldn't i expect A LOT of response--mostly bad? that's what forums are for, right---posting info, opinions, etc?

what's the problem? smash the accelerator then drop the clutch.... presto.... there's your burnout. do it several times and u'll kiss your clutch cylinder good-bye as well. my critisicm would be some inexperienced driver doing something stupid like this on a public road... perhaps jeopardizing the others around them in the process. if this indeed is some young fellow... what would his/her parents think if they saw them doing a burnout somewhere in their car?

As if ALL of you didn't, at one point or another, want to know how to do a proper burnout. Get off your high horses!
