Need a Radiator

Anybody got any ideas on websites to buy a dependable fairly priced radiator for a 2003 g35 with a manual transmission?

RockAuto is the way to go IMHO. Replaced my 5AT radiator a few months ago with a Denso product and replaced the thermostat as well. Spent less than $100 bucks from them shipped to my door and it took me about an hour and a half with a friend to replace it. Fit like a glove, works great and was a super easy replacement. Firestone wanted $691 to do the same damn thing I did, what a freaking joke. DIY FTMFGDW!!!!!

Does it have to be transmission specific?

No, some radiators have built in transmission coolers like on the GTO where the coolant cools the tranny fluid as well. Not so on the G........

Ordered a radiator from RockAuto that says it would fit a manual and automatic transmission and it turns out that it did not fit. If you guys know of any other sits to order from please let me know.

Rock Auto is a reliable source though. Which one did you order?

this is why i went oem. i know some aftermarket ones fit and some dont then u have their unreliable info. i spent quite a bit for oem but less headache and being from hawaii the last thing i need is to be trying to return things back and forth that'll be a big waste of time too lol. but im sure no one wants to spend $600 on a oem radiator like i did lol

Vista-Pro. Guess that was my fault. The info said it could used for both manual and automatic transmissions

Did you send back the Vista Pro? RockAuto's service is top notch so I hope you kept the paperwork that should have come with the radiator. Buy the Denso, it fits like a glove..........

Rock-Auto carries products from numerous suppliers - some are decent quality and some are miserable. Going with a brand name that has a decent reputation like Denso or Koyo is your best bet (Denso is very possibly the OEM supplier to Nissan for the original radiator). I wouldn't touch a Vista-Pro or any other no name brand unless you enjoy changing radiators every few years. OEM is still your best bet - your original one lasted 14 years, obviously it's good quality.
