Question Stone Interior Owners

How are you liking the stone interior color option?

Did you originally want Stone, or was it the best option available for the color you wanted?

The reason I'm asking is because I like the Ivory Pearl coupe but the single-tone graphite interior is my favorite of the three. So much so that I'm considering a Diamond Graphite coupe instead, just for the dark interior. I'd love IP with graphite interior. WTF, Infiniti?

So do you like it, hate it, it's growing on you or what?

I've had mine for just over a week now and I absolutely love it! In fact, kind of like you (only reversed), I liked it so much that I was willing to forego the ease of cleaning on the DG/graphite and get Black just to get the stone interior. I've gotten TONS of compliments on the stone interior. Don't get me wrong, I like the graphite just fine, but it looks like every other car in the parking lot. I have 4 coworkers with BMWs and graphite looks just like their black interiors.

BTW, the floormats are graphite (black) for the stone int. That was one thing that I was worried about =)

I've been looking at the G's for a while now. The Graphite interior was my first choice, but after seeing the Stone, stone has a very clean and classy look to it.

Stone is a pretty nice color. It's not that impressive in the pictures, but in person it really does impress.

Originally I wanted graphite interior...but because it wasn't available for the Lakeshore I opted for the stone...heck of a lot better than blonde *I'm through with blondes ; ) * I love how it looks and it goes well with the graphite parts of the car. You do see the dirt/shoe marks but it's fun cleaning up our G's The one thing that does get to me is that with the factory tint; looking in from the outside it's easy to confuse with the blonde interior...but that's a little thing. Kept on looking at my car's sticker to verify it...but yeah stone is hard.

lates!

i have a dg w/stone coupe.i love the the stone.i had a silver w/graphite sedan before.the stone gives the the interior a better look in my opinion.the stone and black contrast each other very nicely.i am sure it will have to be cleaned more often, but if you stay on top of it,it shouldnt be too bad.good luck

We have the stone interior and love it. We originally had Graphite ordered but we changed the order to stone (in Canada you can get either color with LS or IP). Our last car an 02 IP maxima had frost interior which is exactly the same color as stone and we had no problems with it and liked it .

I have a DG w/Stone and LOVE IT! The graphite was too plain and common for my taste... also my stone has stone floormats.

I really appreciate the replies so far. I really want an IP coupe, but I'm afraid the stone interior will leave it looking a little feminine... ...or at least a little soft.

I had a '97 Eclipse GSX that was Burgandy with a black & tan two-tone interior with similar line breaks. It was likely the most elegant looking combination and really helped as resale time, but it never seemed as tough looking as the plain black interior.

IP would really work with the look (and rims) that I'm going for. Of course, a graphite interior IP coupe would fit the bill perfectly.

I already have a Pathfinder with an all black interior - the stone adds a touch of sophistication with the charcoal/aluminum accents - reminded me of the Audi interior I was cross-shopping. Now that I have it - I am very pleased. The black interior, I dunno... been there, done that. Kind of dated a little bit IMO.

not a fan of lighter interiors...too hard to maintain and gets dirty real quick. also if you ever throw up or have someone throw up, it wont show as bad w/ the graphite

yuuuuch! I have not seen that since my kids were babies. They are all grown up now so I never have problem with any of that, so it is real easy to maintain. It does bring back memories though.

People balked when we had our first kid and got a van with leather.

You have no idea what sort of stuff I've simply wiped off those leather seats. So leather doesn't breathe and gets hot... ...but fabric absorbs. lol

Back on topic: While at the post office a few minutes ago, I realized how nice the blue back-lighting mod for the gauge cluster would look with an IP/S color combo. Hmmmmm.
