Tire size question in 19in rays
Tire size question in 19in rays
tire pop last week in another state and had to replace 2 rear tires . Got the tires at discount tires in Florida . 245/40 falken pro G4 A/S. apparently they don't make them in 225/40 . I've did some research and I'm confused with the 3% thing that someone was saying on another post. Some , where saying it's fine to run 245/40 all around with no vdc issue.
The question i have is , should I just go ahead and get the 245/40 for the fronts ? I don't want to run different tire brand or model etc like falken azenis. I'm not lowered anything if that helps. Also would I lose performance and how would the ride quality be. Thanks in advance, and sorry if I didn't search we'll enough .

If you want the same tires all around just get the same ones you have in the rear. You will probably not notice any difference......
Returning those tires and getting kumo good thing I don't have to pay for the price difference for the rear .

Did you decide to go with 245/40 on all 4 corners? If so I think you'll like the ride and handling, which Kuhmo tires did you go with?
I went with the oem size recommendation. 225/40 front , 245 40 rear. I went with the Kuhmo ecsta 4 x 11 . They ride smooth & also I'll be getting a 60 dollar rebate lmao . Sorry for the super late response been to busy with work
