Ok. I have a question. So I own a 2005 G35 coupe and we all know that they can play data cds.
BUT does anyone know the limit of the built-in mp3 player? I put in a data cd that was as full as it could get, but it would not read.
So I decided to only put 65 songs (instead of the easily 100+ songs that it could fill) and it works fine. Does anyone know the limit? 600 mb? 500mb? 400mb?
I want to put as many songs as I can. Thanks.

The limits are in the owner's manual - I remember reading them but I don't remember what they are...

I have a couple cd's with 150+ mp3's and it plays fine. I'd have to look at exactly how much data is on the disk(s)

Regarding the MP3 playback capability, can you simply create a data CD-R or do you have to specifically encode an MP3 disc? Is there even a difference between a data CD-R and an MP3 CD-R?
