Headlight problem

So I got out of work yesterday at around 9:30pm and got in my car and noticed my headlights were not very bright, I got out and checked and the drivers side light was not on, turned them off and on and it seemed to flicker each time I did that, what is it most likely? Could it just be a bulb? Ballast? What's the best way to find out what it could be, should I switch the bulb/ballast from the other side first?

I just went through this with mine doing the exact same thing and luckily it was only the bulb. With that said,it still could be the ballast. You could first try swapping in the passenger's side bulb and see it it will come on.If not, then try swapping the ballast.

Hopefully it's the bulb it's cheaper than a ballast, thanks I'll get on that once I get home

Buy the ballast used, don't pay more than $40 per. Swap the ballasts or the bulbs. It's likely a ballast because flickering.

Any places to get one besides ordering on ebay or something? The wait time will suck and I do a lot of night driving

Theretrofitsource.com has them under closeout from time to time and HIDPlanet has individuals selling them there.

Finally had the time to see what it was and it wasn't the ballast, the bulb is burned out and has pieces missing that were in my headlight. 2 hours later and I finally know what it is
