New wheels and fitment question?

I finally freed up some cash for a new set of wheels. Problem is I'm not sure what would best fit my current setup.

Im looking to get pretty flush without spacers or at maximum 10-15mm.

I want little or no fender gap. So I guess my only option is 20" as I'm already on 19" Ray's.

Anyone have some specs on what would best fit at my current setup so I can start realistically looking for some wheels?

Probably going to stick with a concave rim and platinum silver or close to that color as I think it looks good with the DG color.

Current setup:
-Tein Stech 350z
-Spring mounts mod
-F/R camber kit
-Fender roll

Current stance

What I'm looking for in wheels

I'm thinking something like

20 x 8.5 / 10.0 +15

Any disagreement?

Oh snap! so I think I finally get it.

So after some time reading good articles on here I think I have it down.

1. When selecting rims, concentrate on finding the correct width FIRST.

In my case I am looking for 20x9.5/20x10.5

2. Now look at offset of the rim to see how inward or outward the hub will be mounted.

In my case I am looking at prob +15 for concave rims and closer to 0 for dish rims.

......Am I off on this or does that sound about right?

the +15 for concave and 0 for dish rims doesn't sound right.

Once you're set on width, the offset will determine how flush you can get the rim edge with the fender (looking from the front or back of the car). So if +15 is flush with a concave wheel, +15 will also be flush with a deep dish wheel. The offset is how far offset the mounting pad of the wheel is from the center of the wheel. +ve means the mounting pad is closer to the face of the wheel, -ve means it's closer to the back of the wheel and 0 offset means it is dead center of the wheel. As you go from +40 to +20 to +15 to 0 to the negatives the mounting pad is moving towards the back of the wheel which pushes the wheel outwards from the wheel well.

But anyway, +15 sounds about right but there should be enough wheel fitment threads - especially for 9.5/10.5 - to find the perfect offset for the stance you're looking for

I have read a lot of those threads, but the numbers don't seem to add up for some of them (at least with what I understand).

For instance I had seen a 20x8.5/10.5 +35 that looked flush to me? How is that possible?

At any rate I found a nice set running 20x10.5 all around with +15.

I know the front might have issues with that width but I am seriously thinking about them.

Is there any negative aspects to spacers?

Yes, They make your wheels more flush which really **** off your fenders.

I have run spacer on my 350z for over 5 years now without a single problem. I have ran both hub centric and bolt centric with no issues at all.

Wow, I was thinking 20mm/25mm spacers to flush out.... Does running spacers that thick change the handling or steering feel?

I noticed a little but nothing crazy. 20/25 spacers will not even come close. To each his own but I like it right next to the fender. If I was you I would go 35/40 or 40/40.
