In my 04 coupe, whenever the weather is humid-like, my steering wheel and shift **** basically shed the leather off. It's becoming more and more of a problem. Every time I get out of my car my hands are literally black from it.
Does anyone know a good fix for this? If not I've been looking at steering wheels online, like a decent wood grain after market ones. But I'm not sure what size I need to get. Any help is appreciated, thanks guys!

 

My '04 coupe has the same thing on the shifter ****. My hands have always been really sweaty though, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. No signs of anything similar on my steering wheel though.

Do your hands sweat a lot?

Steering wheel, check our Marketplace under Private Classified interior for someone selling their '04 wheel! Far better than looking in your local bone yard or aftermarket junk! Remember you have an air bag and controls to deal with!
