so I actually got this painted and shipped for an awesome price (you are correct) so I figured I'll give it a try. I think DG makes it pop out even more and the lip looks huge.
I haven't actually installed it because I could not tell if I like the look. It's like from some angles it looks ok, but others it looks way to large.
Fitment is actually really good though surprisingly enough. I figured for the price it would be a horrible fit but it popped right on with zero issues.
@partyman
thanks, I still need to work the front fitment this weekend
@saywhat
I actually think this is the n2 lip they made awhile back. I honestly don't think any lip will look good on a sport bumper. They all seem to make it look cheap like an add on after the fact.....which they are lol
@G2
I thought i had seen some for sale on eBay awhile back, you sure they don't sell them? Maybe they were the rear I was looking at.

The rears are universal, sport or non-sport. I got a set of Ionic color-matched rears (being installed right now along with other "OEM+" body work, pics to come); I am certain Ionic does not fabricate sport front mudguards, just non-sport. Side splitters are different.
The sport bumper is the sexiest bumper offered by Infiniti for the first gens (with the Nismo on the sedan) and flows very well with lots of mods for the coupe because it has a "lip" built in. This lip looks awkward and clunky because it hides the sexy lines of the bumper. I say sell that shizz and leave the bumper alone.
Well G35freaks, went back several times looking at the before and after bumper...kind a like the before better! Sport bumper already has a lip and that's one beautiful coupe, the stance/wheels and paint...don't mess with perfection! Gary
@blue
i agree. I love the bumper, I might just run coilovers to get the front lower to my liking. I don't think any lip or splitter would look good tbh.
@ther
after I test fit this that's what I thought to myself. I might go a full front bumper replacement, but I got a few PM's for coils in my price range so I might keep it stock and slam it a little.
@Gary
It was hard for me to tell at first. When I first put it on I was like "oh God no" but then from some angles from the rear it looked decent. All in all it just does not flow well and looks tacky. I honestly don't think a lip would look good at all because of the seam it makes......i agree with you, it throws off the lines of the car. This lip is just huge, but I think even a subtle one would not look great.
I am surprised not a single like with the lip, for me I think I am neutral still. I need to see it in person to see if it really compensate the shape of the sport bumper. Part of me says I like it (maybe from some angles) but I really need to see it in person especially for IP coupe.
Like theronz said, maybe the smart thing is to sell the sport and get the bumper I like. How do you think it would look like on IP? Here's how it is currently..
