Love my baby but shes being nasty

I have just recently replaced cam shaft sensor on passenger side and broke the hose to the left of where my fat hads were trying to squeeze through. Im not sure exactly which parts i need to buy. The hose is broke at the bleeder valve. Any help greatly appreciated i did this with a hot engine and truckloads of regret

Take a picture of it, exactly what you broke, and an overview of the engine compartment area with your finger on the exact part you broke. I'm not sure exactly what you broke, there is a purge cap on the radiator hose going to the heater core and a schrader valve on the fuel line.

I would imagine that's your heater core hose. Did the the plastic bleeder valve shatter in half? If so be happy the coolant didn't spray over you. That happened to me when I was bleeding the system on a warm engine and hit me in the face.

I would just buy a straight piece of heater hose from Autozone and replace the two pieces of hose and that valve. You don't really need it to actually bleed the system, I have done it numerous times without opening that thing up ever again, since that happened.

That completely sucks but at the same time is absolutely hilarious. It would have been worth it happening if it could have been caught on camera and displayed on youtube for the world to enjoy. Lol.

What are the problems exactly? I don't think you ever mentioned them... just that you broke the hose off in the process of trying to fix them.

You should seriously replace them with oem Hitachi sensors. They're about 50 bucks each.

Amazon but they're up to around $100 each these days. However this is one part you don't want to cheap out on.

Amazon Amazon
