2003 G35 6sp MT w/ Brembo

I need to replace my ECM because it keeps shorting out the O2 sensor in bank 1.

I've read numerous things online and would just like to get some confirmation before I buy another ECM.

1) Does it need to be from the same year or can I get any (6sp MT) from 2003-2004?
2) Will the 350Z ECM work on my car?
3) I've read that what matters the most when I get another ECM is that the "batch"
numbers, the big bold two digit (e.g. R2, AZ, JN, etc) matches. Is this correct?
4)Anything else that I need to know?

I'd call the dealership and give them the VIN, they will give you the part number and that's the one you need. A wrecking yard interchange manual would help as well, call around.
