Cam Sensors

in case anyone needs proof of OEM cam sensors.

Didnt listen bought them at Advanced and the car kept randomly shutting off whenever it felt like it basically. Last straw was it shutting off at an oncoming intersection with the kids in the car not fun. Somedays it ran fine and than would just bam shut off. Anyway save yourself the headache and get the OEM cam sensors, on 200+ miles with no issues on the current Nissan cam sensor. oh a big heads up. My CEL intially turned on last year when i replaced it with an aftermarket one but when it failed again and i used the advanced ones their sensors would not throw any CEL it would just shut the car off and no restart. had to let it sit for a couple hours and than would restart like a champ until it would happen again. hope this saves someone else the pain and $$.

Yep, and the OEM ones last about 100k miles which is another reason to buy them

Glad you figured out the issue. we've preached for years to go OEM but some people don't heed the advice. 143K on my old G (the girlfriends now) and just replaced the passenger cam sensor. Driver's side still going strong but have a replacement on hand for when it craps out lol.

I'm at about 4 years and 28k on the Duralast (auto zone) ones. They are working great. YMMV, but can't go wrong with OE!
