Is there something like this...

I used to have a 1986 Mustang 5.0, and had an MSD distributor cap+rotor and spark multiplier. I know the G35 does not have a distributor cap+rotor like the older cars, but is there something to upgrade like it? I mean, for faster throttle response, and a larger spark? And would it even be worth it? Thanks, Joe.

There are upgraded coil packs but they're crazy expensive and don't add power for N/A, mostly they're for being able to run an insane amount of boost without requiring the world's smallest gap.

Yah, since each spark plug has it's own dedicated coil there is no need for the MSD ignition. Unless you are FI and want the rev limiter to be an electric cut and not a fuel cut.

I saw those, but wasnt sure. Plus I figure when I get it tuned, that will help with throttle response. Thanks for the quick replies
