Hello all I need some help.

Long story short, I messed up one of the steps for programming the remote. Now even though I stick my keys in by sticking it in and taking it out, I can not get the blinkers to flash. That made my original remote does not work.

After multiple attempts, I just took it to the dealership to get them to program my new remote and my old remote.

They told me the car itself is not receiving the signal and both the remotes work. For a cool $128 they can figure it out for me. I said no thank you and drove home.

It's been a few days but here's something weird.
I will be driving and my hazard lights will flash rapidly for no longer than 2 seconds.

So I have two problems,
1. My remote does not work
2. My hazards flash randomly now after failed attempt to program remotes.

What should I tackle first? I am not gonna spend $128 just to "dive into" what the problems will be.

Other than that, the car is still awesome!

Cheers

I would just pay them, sounds like your BCM is fried and they can verify that.
