Any alignment experts out there?
He's like cheap, but wants luxury goods. He goes to the dealership cuz he gets free WiFi and snacks, but then uses 87 octane, but spends $40k on a car. He buys tires from the dealership, but only if they're buy 3 get one free, even tho he could buy all 4 for cheaper elsewhere. Very strange.
What are these snacks about? Please extrapolate.
The few times I've been there they would have bagels or breakfast snacks in the morning with complimentary cooler full of drinks. A good selection of magazines(important). The koi pond was pretty relaxing. They do their best to make you comfortable while they bend you over. They should offer complimentary lube
There are snacks at my local Nissan but they don't actually announce it, I discovered the juice, coffee, snacks when I wandered into the break room one time. Free for service customers.
I don't mind paying more for a well trained Infiniti technican to work on my vehices.
I'm now on my third Infiniti all purchased from the same Infiniti dealer that is not the closest one to me but 25 miles away.
I have no complaints on their tire or battery prices because they are only a few dollars higher, sometimes cheaper with service and parts coupons that I receive in the mail.
Their coffee, blueberry muffins, almond cookies are excellent.
I can get a loaner if needed and they wash and vacuum my vehicle.
Nice large flatscreen TV and WiFi also.
Life is good!
Love my Q70 that runs perfect on 87 Octane just like the Infiniti mechanic and service adviser said it would.

Don't you just hate having the same repair done over and over by the poorly untrained that work cheap?

Yeah I personally know the guy who worked on it and he smiled as he sent me out the door with a bad alignment. He was clearly in a hurry to get home.
Unfortunately where I live I only have Nissan, but they like the car so I've already seen discounts on stuff like tire changes and stuff. They are cool dudes. I will go there for a front wheel alignment and a rear wheel alignment inspection.

Many years ago I went thru the same aggravation trying to save money by using independent shops. What one will eventually discover are poorly paid and inexperienced late teens or early twenty somethings learning or trying to on the job. Google Jiffy Lube as a good example. They can ruin your vehicle just as easily as Firestone with much aggravation thrown in for free.

You have to for a couple reasons:
First, the tires will not move on the floor while adjusting toe, so you need the plates to move freely. The suspension has to be under full load, so you can't put it on jackstands..
Second, the car has to be on a level surface, and most floors aren't exactly level, so you have to adjust each corner with multiple tiles to level the car out.
As an example on my previous 2012 G37S a visit to Infiniti on Jan 23, 2017 for its 22nd oil change and filter, they provided a inspection report that indicated that my thread depth was 8/32 on all four tires and my brake pads had 10mm on both front wheels and 8mm on both rear wheels. They recommended replacing the brake, power steering and transmission fluid which I said I would think about but never did it. Nor did I ever have the dealer do the 30k,60k, 90k mile services. I traded in it last month at 94444 miles.
So the next owner that wants a 2012 G37S 6 speed manual will have some work to do.
Most likely will need to get rid of the power steering pump to eliminate the whine when parking and turning the wheel. Dealer estimated $1000.00 parts and labor for that.So bottom line is I traded in my 2012G37S for my almost new 2016 Q70 that just hit 4000 miles yesterday. 400 miles of that are mine.
Great vehicle with many new features and love it so far.
Did I mention that it runs great on regular 87 Octane? So does the 2018 4cyl turbo Genesis that I recently looked it prior to purchase of the Q70.
So for all the crazed premium only out there just keep wasting your money and boosting the profits of the gasoline retailers.

^wrong, they only found the rear tires needing to be replaced. The entire service plan is 10 pages long. I only posted the final quotes. The crazy thing is that my car had around 52k miles at that time of inspection
I guess they just didn't like you and wanted you to go elsewhere.
