Hi Guys,
I have an annoying issue with my 2007 G35 coupe. It has an annoying rattle whenever I accelerate while driving. It sounds like metal is hitting on metal, or even sounds like someone is shaking a tin can with rocks inside. When I let my foot off the gas, there is no rattle noise. When it does rattle, it happens between 1500-2000 RPM. Sometimes it does not rattle, but majority of the time it does. The sound only occurs while driving. If I slowly accelerate to 2000 RPMs, I do not hear it. I hear it if i hit the gas moderately. If i accelerate in neutral, there is no rattle sound. The noise seems to coming from under the car near the area where my foot hits the gas/brake pedals.
Any feedback would be appreciated

2007 G35 Coupe with no mods:
1. Oil levels are fine (Synthetic)
2. Premium 91 octane fuel from Chevron
3. Checked the heat shields and they all seem in tact
4. Nothing seems to be loose when I gotten under the car numerous times
5. Recently, replaced the timing chain tensioner and rattle is still there.
6. Replaced both A/C and Drive belts last year
7. Changed my spark plugs last year (Bought them from dealer)

Update?
Hey Marco,
Any updates with the rattle? I bought an 06 coupe about three weeks ago and just started hearing this noise. It sounds like a very common issue. Unfortunately, doesn't seem to be a clear answer. Thanks for any help/info.
