At first I thought it was my imagination, but when I was driving on a rough road today for a good 3minutes, the passengar door (or door handle, i don't know) was rattling like there was no tomorrow. nothing on my side, just the passenger side. die rattle die.........will it rattle itself away, or am i stuck with it?

The seat belt buckle sometimes hangs down and bangs against the B pillar. A common issue.

I have that problem too. I've taken to buckling in an invisible passenger everywhere I go rather than repeatedly re-bending the belt's extension arm to find that magical spot where the buckle doesn't bang into anything. It also makes for a great defensive argument when the police pull you over ("Of course my seatbelt is fastened, officer, can't you see it right over there?").

Re: *rattle rattle rattle*

FYI...I figured out this weekend the second of the three "rattles" that I hear in my car. The first being the seatbelt hitting the door panel (which we already know)...the second which I thought was coming from the passenger door panel the whole time, turned out to be my gate opener that I stored up in the sunglasses holder in the ceiling of the car. Maybe I'm just lucky since that fixed my problem, but I wanted to pass it on to others just in case you're still searching for places where your 'rattles' are coming from and you may have something up there in that compartment that could be making noise. The third I still haven't found...seems to be in the rear on the passenger side...

Re: *rattle rattle rattle*

I had a rattle in the rear driver's side. I let the rear seatbacks down, then slammed 'em shut. Stopped whatever the rattle was.

Not sure about the sit belt. I had the sunglass one! And when I have the sit down and I turn the sound on I can hear the rattle coming from under the speaker... When you hold the cover by hand it goes away. But I have not figured out what to do yet.
