is that with parts and labor? have you shopped around for prices? it's common knowledge that dealer prices will be 20-40% more than any other place. just shop around for a better price.

How many miles do you have that you already need to replace the clutch?

They replaced my clutch under warranty when I had my trans replaced. They said it didn't need it but did it anyway while they were there.

If you drive your car hard then maybe you should look into an after market clutch. An after market racing clutch might be more suited for your style of driving.

I have someone who can install if so.

Thanx
Unless you rode the clutch for the whole 31K miles, I don't see a reason why the clutch would wear out so early. A good clutch should last 100K easily. 31K is waaay too early. If I were you, I would demand to replace the clutch under warranty. 31K miles is barely a quarter of an average clutch's life, no matter how hard you drive it.

2 other names that come to mind are tilton and nismo. While you're looking at doing this job, ever consider a lighter weight fly wheel? Your car will transform into a monster!

At 18K miles my trans lost the 4th to 5th and 5th to 6th syncros. It wouldn't even shift into gear w/out the worst grinding noise you've ever heard. And that was IF it didnt pop back out of gear. Even the service manager said the clutch looked fine but tech in California said to replace it anyway. Beats me but at least I got a new one
