You don't wanta be this ricer b.s. guy /-O-\

You can't go wrong with either wheel, Works wheels have a better reputation in the years I've been a member of Driver! Other than that, the final decision is up to you! Be careful with rim width and offset, you don't want to go too aggressive! Average here for our coupes is max 9.5 (F) & 10.5 (R) with mid/high 20's offset. Search wheel offsets if you need more answers!

I doubt if there's much difference between the weight of a 19" & 20"! There is however a major difference between the cost of tires between the two, for some reason the 20's are considerably less $$! My opinion, I love the 19" and could care less about the cost of tires!!!

yea 19 inch tires cost like 800-1200. I’m just trying to decide if I want to run a 11.5 rear or 11 just to change the stance a little without too much camber

My Volk's are 9X19 (F) & 10X 19 (R), running Michelin Pilot Super Sports 245's and 285's, really like the look and how they handle! These Michelin's have a UTQG of 300 so they wear really well! Any lower UTQG or higher and you run into other issues like wear or lower traction! I'm not into that excessive camber look or the obvious fact they'll wear quickly!

I'm running an 11 rear with 295 on stock camber specs and +17 offset with fenders grinded flat and it flush with very little poke, when I air out it tucks tight on the fender

Frankie that’s ideal but I’m on KW Coils at the moment so my fitment wouldn’t look as nice as yours

I like both, but I'm more of a fan of the bronze lips and black faces, since that's what my next set of wheels will be. Personally, I think 20's look too big on G's and the smaller sidewall tires = worse ride. 19" tires aren't too expensive, I'm about to order a full set of Federal's and it will be slightly above $400 from tireseasy.com.

Seriously, $400 for a set of tires? That's what a high quality tire costs individually! This is to all of our members: "Remember what's between you and the road may save your life!" I can think of a no better place to spend a little more $$ to save your life!

not sacrificing ride quality Michelin makes one of the best tires around even though they are the most expensive

I baby my car, so I have 0 use for a "quality" tire with crap tons of grip. I have, nor will I ever, empty my pockets for "quality" tires for the G. If you're tracking it or doing autocross sure, go ahead, but my car is a daily. PSS might be worth it, or same for R888, but on a street car that makes 0 power and gets driven hard 0% of the time, I have no use for them. I see nothing wrong with the cheaper tires, I'm not buying eBay tires or anything. Federal is a known brand. I don't see the big issue. As far as ride qaulity goes, with lopro tires you're going to have to sacrifice some ride qaulity, and going to a 20 means you're going to have run smaller sidewalls...

I'd never consider spending $400 on one tire... I just bought 19" Firestone Indy 500s and they were like $160 a tire, with 340 treadwear rating and nice meaty tread. I haven't got a chance to autocross them yet but I have no doubt based on my recent street driving they'll do great.

Don't buy crap tires but not all inexpensive tires are crap, just gotta do your research.

I'd go with the black and bronze lip because I've just never seen it on a car before.

My best advice Albanian122, stay with the wheels you have or have them powder coated if you like a different color!
Amazing how cheap our Driver members have become spending $400 for an entire set of tires, guess they've never had a blowout at speed! At speed means freeway driving when you're not at a crawl! Then the word "Traction" also means the ability to stop quickly when needed!
