You have 4 cam sensors on the rev-up motor. Each bank has a straight and an angled sensor. Poke your head back there, it's easy to see them, only plugs on the back of the heads.

I replaced the passenger side (straight) sensor
the driver side I have the sensor (angled) but it doesn’t plug in the connector.. idk why. Everyone says it’s the correct one but it had a straight sensor when I took it out I’m confused.

Did you buy an OEM sensor or aftermarket?

They're probably confused since the G's in that year came with two different motors, Both are VQ35DE but one is the "rev-up" version with the 4 cam sensors and exhaust cam timing and the other version of the motor only has 2 cam sensors.

If you pulled out a straight sensor then put another one back in, the minimum wage counter boy who looked it up on the computer probably doesn't know about the two engines in the same car, people make mistakes even at the dealership.
