g35 exhaust help

so i’m looking for an exhaust to put on my stock 05 g. i found a guy who had this show g with all this **** on it and he has an hks straight pipe (not dual only one tip) with megan test pipes for 600. or there’s this other guy selling a used hks hi power exhaust with berk pipes for 950. he said it needs new gaskets and it’s scraped a little from being lowered but nothing major. what should i do?

Do you have a coupe or a sedan?

Then you probably want to go with the dual exhaust system, there's a good chance the single exit exhaust was from a sedan and it will look funny if you don't do something about the dual openings in the rear diffuser.

the guy had this g coupe with a widebody kit and he had a tow ring on the other exit. so just save a little more and go with the used hks?

Well the FIRST thing to do is find someone with the same setup and make sure you like the sound.

Not a fan of Berks HFC's, however there's no reason why you wouldn't love the sound of the HKS exhaust! I've had 5 exhaust systems (2 sponsored) on my coupe and HKS sounded the best plus the extra WHP was a plus!! I also recommend spending the extra $$ for gaskets from Nissan, the quality is the best!
Good Luck & enjoy the ride...
Gary

Overlook Gary's typo, he means to say there's not reason to NOT love the sound of the HKS.

Extensions, so you'll need two more Nissan gaskets!
