Finally Going to Pick up the Coupe!

Well, the 2 month wait is over. The car is in, the papers are signed and I'm on my way to pick up the 05 6MT. I have a Z tube and K&N filter waiting and I'll be putting some tint and a lip spoiler on. I may do something with the wheels but I'll post everything as I go.

Thanks for the tips, I'll post the pics when I get back.

Here are my specs: 2005 G35 coupe 6MT, Lakeshore SLate, Stone, Prem, Nav, Sirius, Splash.

Sorry fellas, it got dark and I've been driving all day! I'll post some pics tomorrow. The car is awsome and I'm a previous BMW 5 Series owner. It's looks slightly purple at night...I love the Lakeshore Slate color. I'm real happy with that choice!

Observations:

No noise at all within the car. If people were having that problem with previous generation G's, they have fixed it. The only thing I hear is the sweet growl from the engine.

Radio is not bad but I agree that it can use an amp or some new speakers. However, my settings don't go back to default (as some others have complained about). The settings on my radio stay the same until I change them.

The ride is nice and I have the works (minus aero). It's not too harsh or bumpy. It ride nice for a sports car and turns on a dime.

Well, I am heading out to a few bars on the Sunset strip tonight, but I'll post pics in the morning.

It takes time for squeeks to pop up since your car was never driven on bumpy roads yet and try leaving your radio settings (bass for example) on +5 before you go to bed, then next morning check it out.

Besides that congrats! And what dealer in SoCal did u get it from?

That'll be one sweet trip you make to pick up that ride.
Be sure and post some pics....I've not seen the Coupe in L/Slate yet.
Congrats and enjoy.

Well, I finally took some pics. I've been having waaay too much fun driving. I love the nav on this thing. The car is too quick though. I got a dang speeding ticket in Malibu! I haven't gotten a ticket in 8 years! Ugh!

By the way, Lakeshore Slate is the bomb! The gray/blue color looks good and then looks slightly purple during sunsets. Anyway, I love the car!
