G35 Coupe Tail light relay

My G35 coupe is currently having an issue where my tail lights won’t turn on, but my brake lights work fine. I’ve narrowed it down to the 10amp fuse that it runs off of which blows everytime I turn on my lights whether the car is off or on. I have unplugged everything it is connected to and the fuse still blows whether I put in a 10a or 20a. Consulting the manual I saw that there is a taillight relay, but I can’t find any mention of where it is on here. Does anyone know where the tail light relay is? It’s a 2006 g35 coupe.

The taillamp relay is built into the IPDM. It is not replaceable.

That circuit controls a lot of little interior and exterior lights (including the parking lights). It's pretty difficult to find a short on that circuit.

Have u done any work on anything recently that might have caused it??

When I first bought the car about 6 months ago I got pulled over shortly after for the tail lights not running, at the time I just put a new fuse in, and i didn’t notice it had went back out until last week I was pulled over again with the same issue. Now the fuse blows instantly when I try to turn on the lights. It doesn’t blow before that. No work has been done recently that would cause this so I assume it was something that happened before. Car is 100% stock but it was in an accident prior to my ownership on the front end so I think it could possibly be somewhere something is exposed and causing a short. With everything unplugged it’s either that or the relay as far as I can tell. But if that’s not replaceable would I have to put an entirely new fuse box if the relay went bad?

Since the fuse blows when you first turn on the power, that tells us that relay is working fine.

U just gotta find the short...wherever it is. But the front parking lights would be a good place to start since that area has been crashed.
