I think by plenum you're referring to the lower manifold. Also, the camshaft has a new part number... read the link above on my350z.com. Most of your answers can be found there.

I just received an email from everythingg35.com stating this:

It's the actual lower half of the intake plenum, it is not a spacer. It's the only part of the intake that was redesigned for the 298hp motor.
It will not give you an 18hp gain, there are MANY other changes that took place inside the motor that make up the hp gains. It should be releasing
within the next few weeks.

So, that explains it I guess........................ Still curious to see if it yields a hp increase.

It was updated for the HP but it alone is not responsible; it works in conjunction with everything else they did
