However, on most newer cars, with better paint technology/quality, and on small dents, it works well.
It just takes a little bit of legwork and some patience, plus a warm day
I have also heard of people using the ice method on larger dents, but doing it sectionally, one portion at a time. However, I have NO experience with that, so I can't comment on whether or not it would work.
I understand the scepticism, though, I was too.

Now its too late, oh wells, I could always get repainted, not such a big deal as a massive door dent.
Thanks if anybody could help.

Thanks for everybody's responses. I tried the "DING KING" last nite and it didn't work at all. I think that product works best on larger dents, but for dents the size of mine, which is about a nickel, it does't work at all as someone stated earlier in one of the posts above. So people, don't get that product. I read about the dry ice thing. I think I might try this first before having to spend around $75 for a PDR. I called around today and got a few quotes. Now all I need to do is find some dry ice and the cheese cloth shouldn't be so hard. Its been sunny and kinda hot here in Nor Cal, so it should be a good time to do it. I will probably do it this weekend for sure. Lets go from there. If that doesn't work, I will have to set up an appointment to get a PDR done. Thanks everybody and wish me luck. LOVE my car by the way
.
I'm thinking about either getting my rock chips fix then get a clear bra now. That or just repaint the car with a stronger paint, I don't know. I'm gonna worry about that later.

i would also recommend using a professional dent repair person. most are mobile and will come to your location. the cost is usually about $75-95 for small dents (about a quarter size or less) and a bit more for bigger dents. my wife has a honda accord coupe and had a huge ding on the door. we called the dent specialist and he came to our office. he charged $95 because it was a huge dent, but it looks pretty good now. you can't really tell there was a dent there at all. those tv self-repair dent kits are worthless....at least that's what i've heard from ppl and consumer reports magazine.
wunautica,
if you want, i can give you the number to the guy i used. i have his business card at my work. i'm also in norcal. he had quoted me $75 for smaller dents, which appears to be the size of your dent.

Unfortunately, these dent removal products and techniques are pretty much useless to removing dents. Taking dents out require careful massaging of the dent from the inside of the panel. The glue pullers will not work in removing dents and in some instances make it even worse. You should search out a PDR tech for the work and bring it back to normal.
